Follow artist, Katherine Larson as she ventures out for pleinair sessions in the southern United States. Katherine is an illustrator, fine artist and muralist who has completed over 200 murals, illustrated 11 nationally distributed children's books and painted countless commissions in watercolors, acrylics and oils. Now she is embarking on a new venture in search of beautiful places to paint and she doesn't have to look too far from home! Katherine will film her painting adventures with fast painting demos. Conquering Filming Challenges

When you are filming a painting session, it's a lot harder than you can imagine for the painter. A painter generally stands right in front of the canvas, or in the case of watercolor, it's on the artist's lap or laying mostly flat. Finding a place to put the camera to capture the action on the canvas is a real challenge.
